В Заинске продолжается работа по улучшению безопасности на дорогах. На этот раз к решению вопроса подошли креативно, привлекая самых маленьких жителей города. У пешеходного перехода на пересечении улиц Комсомольская и Ленина появилась новая предупреждающая надпись, призывающая пешеходов быть более внимательными. Эта инициатива реализована в рамках мероприятия по профилактике безопасности дорожного движения. В акции активно участвовали воспитанники детского сада «Дюймовочка» и инспектор ДПС Михаил Кузьмин. Вместе они нанесли на асфальт у «зебры» яркую надпись: «Сними наушники». Эта простая, но важная фраза призвана напомнить пешеходам, особенно молодежи, о распространенной опасности. Прослушивание музыки или разговор по телефону через наушники существенно снижает бдительность человека. Из-за этого он может не услышать приближающийся автомобиль, сигнал клаксона или звук двигателя, что является критичным при переходе дороги. Для детей из «Дюймовочки» это мероприятие стало не только увлекательным, но и полезным практическим занятием. Они не просто наблюдали, а непосредственного участвовали в процессе. Тем самым малыши в игровой форме усвоили важные знания о правилах безопасного перехода дороги. Михаил Кузьмин отметил: «Подобные акции крайне важны. Они действуют в двух направлениях: во-первых, мы напоминаем пешеходам о необходимости сосредоточиться на дороге, а во-вторых, с детства формируем у подрастающего поколения правильное поведение на проезжей части. Участвуя в создании таких предупреждений, ребенок лучше запоминает правила». Теперь этот пешеходный переход на одной из загруженных улиц Заинска стал ещё безопаснее. Новая надпись является ярким и актуальным сигналом для каждого района, который заставляет на секунду остановиться, задуматься и снять наушники, обеспечивая свою безопасность.       At times, recipe concepts come to me in a dream. While I was working on my Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe, I envisioned my Nutella Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies, and you can easily see where my thoughts went.

      It's not surprising that I often think about cookie flavors, especially since I've published a cookbook on cookie baking. I never seem to tire of coming up with new cookie ideas.

      For this recipe, I experimented by freezing scoops of peanut butter mixed with powdered sugar (similar to the filling in my homemade Peanut Butter Cup recipe). While the scoops were freezing, I prepared the dough.

      I tried various techniques for encasing the dough around the frozen peanut butter scoops. Initially, I completely wrapped the dough so the filling would be an unexpected surprise inside.

      In the end, I opted to allow some of the peanut butter to show, creating a marbled effect with the contrasting interior. Not only did they appear attractive, but they also heightened the anticipation for chocolate and peanut butter deliciousness.

      The Peanut Butter:

      This recipe works well with well-mixed natural peanut butter (Kirkland) and conventional peanut butter (Skippy).

      Scoop out dollops of peanut butter and freeze them while preparing the dough.

      Natural peanut butter offers a stronger peanut flavor, although it may be stickier than conventional varieties.

      If your peanut butter scoops become too sticky to handle, simply place them back in the freezer to harden again.

      The Cocoa Powder:

      I chose to use natural cocoa powder for this recipe, which enhances chewiness and perfectly complements the peanut butter flavor in a wonderfully nostalgic way.

      To prevent dry cookies, try to weigh your cocoa powder (and flour!) if possible. If this isn’t feasible, spoon and level the cocoa in your measuring cup to avoid packing in too much, which can lead to dry cookies.

      Bake at 400°F for Thick Cookies!

      Most cookie recipes call for baking at 350°F, but not this one. Baking slightly larger scoops (3 tablespoons) of dough at a higher temperature results in ultra-thick cookies. I learned this technique from the famous Levain cookies in NYC. The elevated temperature sets the outer layer of the cookie before it has a chance to spread too much, keeping the inside soft and fudgy.

      Storage & Freezing Tips

      Baked cookies can be kept in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

      To freeze, place the pre-portioned, chilled scoops of cookie dough in an airtight container and freeze for up to 1 month. Bake directly from frozen at 380°F for 10 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and tap it on the counter a few times, then return it to the oven for an extra minute. This will ensure the cookies spread properly and reveal the peanut butter filling.

      ▢ 3/4 cup (203 grams) creamy peanut butter

      ▢ 6 tablespoons (47 grams) powdered sugar

      ▢ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

      For the cookie dough:

      ▢ 1 stick (113 grams) unsalted butter

      ▢ 1 cup (200 grams) light brown sugar

      ▢ 1 large egg, at room temperature

      ▢ 1 large egg yolk, at room temperature

      ▢ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

      ▢ 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons (143 grams) all-purpose flour*

      ▢ 2/3 cup (57 grams) natural unsweetened cocoa powder
