Yellow Days, whose real name is George van den Broek, described ‘Sharon’ as: “This song is ultimately about a friend supporting you during difficult times. They quietly encourage you to follow your heart and not be sidetracked by the complexities surrounding you. It’s about a friend who believes in you amidst your chaotic life.” Across 14 tracks, the multi-instrumentalist thrives in an unpredictable environment, drawing inspiration from both the past and present as he reemerges as Yellow Days. The creative journey saw Yellow Days collaborate with a jazz fusion band from Newcastle to help realize his vision.
